Debian Edu / Skolelinux Stretch — a complete Linux solution for your school

Debian 9 "Stretch" released

After 26 months of development the Debian project is proud to present its new stable version 9 (code name Stretch), which will be supported for the next 5 years thanks to the combined work of the Debian Security team and of the Debian Long Term Support team.

Updated Debian 8: 8.8 released

The Debian project is pleased to announce the eighth update of its stable distribution Debian 8 (codename jessie). This update mainly adds corrections for security problems to the stable release, along with a few adjustments for serious problems. Security advisories were already published separately and are referenced where available.

Shutting down public FTP services
