ใครทราบวิธี report bug ของ debian

ใครพอจะทราบวิธีการรายงาน bug ของ debian บ้างครับ พอดีเจอปัญหา bug ของ snmpd package ใน etch ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ ppp interface

‹ update kernel แล้วติดอยู่ที่ Grub ทำไงดีครับ .bashrc ไม่ยอมรันตอน login ครับ ›

reportbug

ใช้ คำสั่ง reportbug นะครับ ระบบ bug ของ debian จะใช้ mail เป็นหลัก ถ้าไม่มีคำสั่ง ก็ติดตั้งแพกเกจ reportbug ก่อน เวลารายงานก็พิมพ์ reportbug ตามด้วยชื่อแพกเกจ เช่น ในกรณีนี้ก็

$ reportbug snmpd

ผม report ไปแล้ว...ปรากฎว่ามันเคยเป็น bug ใน package รุ่นเก่าๆแต่มันกลับมาอีกครังใน package ล่าสุดของ etch

อืมมมม...แล้วจะรู้ได้ไงครับว่า report ของเราไปถึงแล้ว???

จะมีเมลมาบอกเราครับ ว่าระบบบั๊กได้รับรายงานแล้ว พร้อมกับให้หมายเลขบั๊กมาด้วย หลังจากนั้น ใคร follow-up บั๊ก ก็จะมีเมลมาถึงเรา

ระบบบั๊กมันใช้เมลเป็นหลักก็จริง แต่ก็สามารถดู archive ได้ที่ http://bugs.debian.org นะครับ กรอกหมายเลขบั๊กดูได้ หรืออีกวิธีที่เข้าถึงบั๊กอย่างเร็ว ก็แค่ใส่หมายเลขบั๊กต่อท้าย เช่น บั๊กหมายเลข 123456 ก็ http://bugs.debian.org/123456 แบบนี้เป็นต้น

วิธีจัดการบั๊ก เช่น reopen บั๊กที่ปิดไปแล้ว ก็ใช้วิธีส่งเมลคำสั่งไปที่ control@bugs.debian.org นะครับ ดูรายละเอียดได้จากหน้า Introduction to the bug control and manipulation mailserver ครับผม
